Silver Mica capacitors are high precision, stable and reliable capacitors. Used with very low capacitance values and at very high voltages.

Often used on Guitar Volume pot's, soldered across pins 2 & 3, to minimize treble bleed and in amplifier tone stacks due to it's high breakdown voltage and it's ability to withstand heat.
